Being an Iranian law graduate, I have limited opportunities to be able to continue my studies abroad or to find a well-paid specialized legal job in international law firms. This is due to different system of teaching-learning in higher educations, as well as political and economic issues and obstacles in the country.
Since the second year of my LL.B, I started extra-curricular activities including moot courts and non-profit organizations. I have also had the TA and RA experience in public international law courses, with a main focus on state responsibility regarding environmental obligations. Moreover, I have recently completed a 2-months internship at APP-Dentons law firm, an Iranian law firm in association with Dentons Europe, where I worked on due diligence matters of an international sales contract.
With this background, I am now looking for new experiences and challenges, willing to get an LL.M abroad, and to pursue my legal career with the help of this program.
