Saeede Mokhtarzade holds an M.A. in Human Rights from FAU University in Erlangen, Germany. Saeede possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Iranian legal system, as well as the European and international legal systems, and is a human rights researcher. She has a strong academic foundation in Islamic jurisprudence, the Iranian legal system, and international law as a result of her previous education. As evidenced by her academic peer-reviewed publications, her research is focused on the protection of women and children, gender-sensitive studies, and forced migration, with a particular emphasis on Afghan refugees. Furthermore, she has an interest in the migration governance and the impacts of climate change. Saeede has accumulated more than eight years of experience in a variety of capacities, such as project manager, researcher, and communication officer. She has made significant contributions to educational legal institutions and NGOs that specialise in refugee law and advocacy. Furthermore, she is a committed volunteer who provides active support to Afghan refugee students and instructors in Iran and abroad. She is a frequent contributor to national newspapers, where she discusses legal and human rights issues.
